The bride and groom requested a pyramid cake to tie in the Egyptian theme which originated from the diamond ring the groom had given the bride. It was a family heirloom that had the Egyptian symbol of love on either side of the diamond. The pyramid symbolizes eternal life.
There were many specific hieroglyphics on the pyramid with special meaning to the couple along with a staircase. The wedding topper was a hand made and hand painted gum paste replica of the bride and groom figurines in their wedding attire looking up to the sky.
