This 4-tier wedding cake was designed by the Groom (Trae Murray) making this more than just another wedding cake. Carrie (his bride) and Trae had travelled to Italy and loved all of the ornate details of Orvieto Cathedral therefor, they wanted that carried through the complete wedding. From Italian foods and wines to their wedding cake which included one tier of Tiramisu flavored cake. All of the accents on the cake are stenciled with multiple layers of colors to achieve the patterns. The colors chosen were the same as the colors Carrie and Trae used throughout their wedding. The reception was held at the Piedmont Club in Spartanburg, SC. What a gorgeous location for reception!
